• If you are already using another Customs tariff-reduction program, such as Duty Drawback, Temporary Importation Bond, or a Bonded Warehouse, you need to consider U.S. FTZs as a way to streamline your operations, cut down on paperwork, increase your flexibility, and save additional money, all at the same time. Many companies are discovering that Zones more efficiently meet their needs than other Customs programs.

The City of Lemoore has plenty of vacant land available for Foreign Trade Zone use. All companies interested in taking advantage of the FTZ status can operate their facility here in Lemoore as a FTZ subzone. A sub-zone is open to all of the benefits offered in Foreign Trade Zones. Companies apply for sub-zone status on an individual basis.

The Designated Port of Entry for Foreign Trade Zone 266 is the Fresno International Airport. However, any mode of transportation may be utilized and merchandise need not pass through the Fresno Airport in order to qualify. NAS Lemoore, which is five miles from Lemoore's Industrial Park, has agreed to share their airstrip with private enterprises wishing to take advantage of the FTZ.
