Proclamation of the Mayor of the City of Lemoore

Employee of the Quarter - 4th Quarter 2014

Whereas,

Soledad Perez was hired by the City of Lemoore in December of 2001, as a part time Community Service Officer with the Lemoore Police Department, and was soon appointed to a full-time position in August of 2002. Along with being the Community Service Officer, she is also the city’s Code Enforcement Officer; and,

Whereas,

Soledad is a top performer in every aspect of her job and routinely reflects pride, professionalism, kindness, empathy, courtesy and dedication to the citizens of Lemoore, the Lemoore Police Department, fellow coworkers, and other City employees of Lemoore. She is always willing to take on new tasks or offer a helping hand, and is on call twenty-four hours a day, three hundred and sixty-five days a year; and

Whereas,

Soledad is responsible for the school crossing guards, Neighborhood Watch Block Captains, and the Crime Free Multi-Housing Project. She coordinates and provides an enormous amount of labor for events such as Reason for the Season, Presents on Patrol, the Volunteer Appreciation Dinner, and the Red Ribbon Campaign. With multiple tasks and assignments, Soledad never fails to complete her duties on time and consistently delivers unsurpassed quality results no matter the complexity of the project; and,

Whereas,

Soledad has been nominated by her peers and selected by the Injury and Illness Prevention Committee to be recognized as the Employee of the Quarter for the fourth quarter of 2014;

Now, Therefore, Be It Resolved, that the City Council of the City of Lemoore recognizes the excellent service provided by Soledad Perez and does hereby thank and congratulate her on being named Employee of the Quarter.
