Kimberly G. Morrell's law enforcement career has spanned over
19 years. After graduating from California State University at Fresno in 1981, Kimberly Morrell came to the Lemoore Police Department - her first full time position. She has held positions as Patrol Officer, Community Resource Officer, Sexual Assault Investigator, Detective, Patrol Sergeant, Detective Sergeant, Administrative Commander, and Commander of Patrol Operations. Being recognized for her excellence in police work, professionalism, dedication and leadership abilities, Kimberly Morrell became Lemoore's Chief of Police in July 2000.
Kimberly Morrell supports the concept of "Total Community Policing" and believes in citizen involvement. "Community policing is the future of law enforcement." She plans on involving more Lemoore citizens with the Department. Her primary goal is to "reduce crime & calls for service." This should be accomplished with the help of local citizens within their own neighborhoods. She hopes to develop an even stronger partnership between community members and Lemoore Police Department.
Kimberly Morrell is currently involved with several professional
organizations:
