On a fairly frequent basis suspicious persons or situations show up in and
around our businesses and homes. These incidents make people feel uneasy
or afraid. If you do not feel safe in your businesses or homes we view
that as a diminished quality of life concern. The Lemoore Police Department
takes this very seriously because of our commitment to a safe community.
Don't wait to become a victim call the police immediately if you feel you
have a suspicious situation or you observe a suspicious person. Officers
would rather have you call to make sure than to let it go and have a
possible crime occur. We would rather have you feel safe.
Officers will then respond and are able to separate criminal from the
curious. If nothing else happens at least you have let the suspicious
person know that you and the police are vigilant.
Citizens of Lemoore should never be afraid to call on their police
department at any time. The opportunity to offer a positive resource and
assistance is foremost on the officers minds.
If you have a suspicious incident you can call the non-emergency number
for the Department. But of course we would wish you to use our 911
emergency number if you need an Officer right away. Protection and Service
are paramount to the Lemoore Police Department.
