The 11th Annual
Cars in the Park Show

Added events are planned to make the 1998 11th Annual Cars in the Park Show better than ever. This year, the show will begin with a Cruise Night on Friday, Oct. 9 followed by a '50s and '60s Theme Dance at the Lemoore Civic Auditorium. The Lemoore Lions Club are the sponsors of Cruise Night and the dance.

The car show will be held Saturday, Oct. 10 in Lemoore City Park. Major sponsor for the event is Caglia Consolidated Enterprises of Fresno. Also sponsoring the annual show is Sequoia Beverages of Visalia.

Cruise time is from 6 to 7 p.m. with the dance starting at 7 p.m. and continuing to midnight. Cost for the dance is $5 per person and $8 per couple. Children 12 and under are free when accompanied by an adult. The dance will feature an Elvis impersonator and refreshments.

The cost to enter the show is $15 per vehicle with a deadline date of Sept. 30. After that date entry fee is $20 per vehicle. For bicycles, cost is $5 per entry until Sept. 30, when it will increase to $10 per entry.

Vendors are welcome. Booth space is 10 x 10 and the cost is $25 for "On-profit organizations; $50 for commercial food vendors. An exclusive right to vend a particular item may also be purchased. Cost is $150.
